"The Fate of Iris". This is a completely dry Japanese Iris which was originally over 4" in diameter. It dried to less than 1/2" in diameter. When enlarged is appeared to be made of gorgeous corduroy cloth. A splendid surprise from Mother Nature! I've attempted to recreate it, yet I've had no success.
