Artist Statement:

Illuminating an unseen perspective via coordinated design creates the passion for my composition.

Storytelling through my photographs reflects an ecosystemic approach, a duality in purpose. The superimposition captures life's spectrum of motion and emotion layered with nature's increasing plight of flora and their endangered habitats.

The continuum of the social experience: belonging, confusion, love, pain and drama as evidenced in the flora photographs gives us pause to interpret and embrace.

The photographic text propels the viewer to assume an active role in constructing an intentional level of metaphysical awareness.

A spiritual dimension transcends the frame towards reflective contemplation. Tension in concept and text stretches the message so that we accept the past, understand the present and encourage the future.
